Assessing Energy Needs

Every solar installation begins the exact same way: with a review of the homeowner’s past energy consumption and a site evaluation. First we must determine how much energy our customer needs.

Site Evaluation

During the site evaluation we look for the best place to install the PV system. Depending on the site, there may be limits for how many panels can be installed. In ideal situations, we are able to install fewer modules and produce more energy than the average.

Proposal & Permitting

Once we have the initial information about the site and energy consumption, we put together a proposal. If accepted, we move forward with permitting. We first apply for an electrical permit. Then, we apply for a micro-generation agreement with the wire owner. If there are any potential rebates, we’ll apply for them at this time as well, doing all the necessary administrative work.

Installation and System Orientation

When all of the paperwork is complete we start the installation process, setting up all necessary inspections for the permits. After installation, we provide our customers with a full orientation, showing them everything they need to know about their new system and the energy tracking apps associated with it.
